  Cooke introduced the new Panchro/i Classic series as a result of renewed interest in the vintage <strong>Cooke Speed Panchro</strong> lenses that were originally manufactured between the 1920s and 1960s. The new Panchro/i Classic is true to the optical character of the original Speed Panchro, recreating the same look and feel of the original optics with the advantage of modern glass, mechanical design and lens mounts for todays cinematography cameras. The Panchro Classic lenses also feature the Cooke /i Technology interface for frame by frame metadata capture. Cooke Panchro/i Classics are a particularly interesting lens choice for digital sensor cameras such as the Sony VENICE and ARRI Alexa Mini which can often benefit from a softer/more gentle visual style. Our set of Cooke Panchro/i Classic lens set includes the 18, 25, 32, 40, 50, 75, 100 & 152mm focal lengths.

  The Fujinon Premista 28-100m zoom covers a 46.3mm image circle, making it compatible with the Full-Frame size sensors of both the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini-lf/">Alexa Mini LF</a> and the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera-axs-r7-package/">Sony Venice.</a> The 28-100mm zoom range encompasses some of the most widely used focal lengths in both Full-Frame and Super35 cinematography. And the Premista is an excellent choice for when the practicality of a variable focal range might outweigh the aesthetic considerations of shooting on prime lenses. Other features of the Premista 28-100mm zoom include a ZEISS eXtended Data port (LEMO connector) and a Cooke /i interface enabling focus, iris and zoom metadata to be captured.

  Featuring a 46.7mm image circle, Tokina Vista Primes cover the largest Full Frame and Vista Vision sensors, but are equally at home paired with Super 35 format cameras. All lenses in the set have a T1.5 maximum aperture, share a 9 bladed iris design and have almost imperceptible optical breathing, allowing for very precise and consistent cinematography. If you have not used Tokina lenses before, prepare yourself to be impressed – these are lenses that punch well above their weight, and hold their own against lenses by more established cine lens manufacturers such as Cooke and ARRI. We also sometimes get asked by our clients which of the lenses we stock have the closest characteristics to Panavision glass – Tokina Vista series primes are almost identical in terms of published technical specifications to Panavision Panaspeed large format lenses, so would always be our recommendation! Our 6-way Tokina Vista lens set comprises of the 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm & 105mm focal lengths.

  Punching in tighter than the 100mm included with our standard five-way set, the 135mm Cooke anamorphic is a great addition to the DoP’s arsenal of lenses and perfect for flattering close-ups. Featuring the distinctive Cooke Look optical characteristic, it also retains the T2.3 maximum aperture which is found in almost every lens in the Anamorphic series. The 135mm Cooke Anamorphic, along with the Cooke Anamorphic Set, is colour balanced to match with the Cooke S4/i and S8/i.
