Sony XDCA-FX9 Extension Unit

The XDCA-FX9 is an optional accessory for Sony FX9 which expands the functionality of the camera. Features include support for V-lock batteries, a D-tap outlet for powering camera accessories, advanced networking capabilities and an integrated receiver slot compatible with Sony DWX/URX radio mic systems. For more demanding workflow requirements, it also enables the camera to output 16-bit RAW* format images.

The XDCA unit also is useful in adding counterweight to the FX9 camera, particularly when using longer/heavier lenses.

*16-bit RAW output from the Sony FX9/XDCA is subject to a future firmware release and will require an external recorder. We also recommend that the Sony XDCA-FX9 is fitted to the camera by one of our technicians before the hire – please advise when you hire the unit from us if you require it to be configured this way.
