The new Panchro/i Classic is true to the optical character of the original Speed Panchro, recreating the same look and feel of the original optics with the advantage of modern glass, mechanical design and lens mounts for todays cinematography cameras. The Panchro Classic lenses also feature the Cooke /i Technology interface for frame by frame metadata capture. Cooke Panchro/i Classics are a particularly interesting lens choice for digital sensor cameras such as the Sony VENICE and ARRI Alexa Mini which can often benefit from a softer/more gentle visual style.
