The S8/i 135mm is currently the longest focal length available in the Cooke S8/i lens series. We offer this lens as a single, and it can be combined with our 6-way standard set when a few more mm’s are required for that close-up or punch in shot.

Like all other lenses in the series, the S8/i has a fast T1.4 maximum aperture and is fitted with an LPL mount.

Developed in the 1980s by the esteemed Joe Dunton Cameras (JDC) company (which was subsequently acquired by Panavision), Xtals have been used to lens many high profile feature films, including Star Wars Episode VI, Layer Cake, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ex Machina. They also remain a popular and enduring lens choice for cinematographers shooting music promos and commercials, especially when a striking and unique visual aesthetic is required. Our 4-lens set of of JDC Xtal Xpress (pronounced “crystal express”) anamorphic lenses include the 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm focal lengths. Recently given a complete optical and mechanical overhaul, we are confident this is one of the finest sets of these acclaimed and rarefied lenses currently available for rental.     The Fujinon Premista 28-100m zoom covers a 46.3mm image circle, making it compatible with the Full-Frame size sensors of both the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini-lf/">Alexa Mini LF</a> and the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera-axs-r7-package/">Sony Venice.</a> The 28-100mm zoom range encompasses some of the most widely used focal lengths in both Full-Frame and Super35 cinematography.     If you’re looking for a wild look with characterful bokeh and organic colour rendition, The LOMOs are the way to go. These Vintage Soviet-era lenses from the 1970s and 1980s use spherical lens assembly specially designed to reduce lens breathing (for anamorphic lenses). Each lens has been retrofitted with the Arma Cine Oribital system which prevent the lens front from rotating. This enables clip on matte box to be used easily with these lenses. These lenses are particularly recommended for use with cinematography cameras such as the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini/">Alexa Mini</a> and Sony <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Venice</a> that support full height sensors. Please note that the 35mm supports LMB Matte boxes in 2-Stage configuration with standard PV Filters, you won’t be able to use Rota Polas or Dioptres in either an LMB tray or stage without vignetting.
