  The Sony FS7 II is an update to the popular FS7 which extends the capabilities and feature set of the original camera. Enhancements to the camera design include a variable ND filter, a lever locking Sony E-mount, an improved viewfinder and the addition of Rec-2020 colour space (ITU BT.2020). The FS7 II retains all the functionality of the original Sony FS7, including 4K & HD resolutions, up to 180fps capture, the same Super 35mm format sensor and options (via E-mount adapters) to use a wide range of lenses, including PL, Leica & Canon EF. This is a highly versatile yet affordable camera which lends itself to a range of applications including digital cinematography, multi-camera and documentary shooting. Like the Original FS7, the FS7 II is compatible with the optional <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-xdca-fs7-extension-unit/">XDCA-FS7</a> extension unit. This allows the use of V-Lock batteries as well as Apple ProRes recording and time Code capabilities.   Sony FX3

  The Sony FX3 is the baby of the Sony Cinema Line camera series and shares both its sensor lineage and colour science with it’s Sony FX6 and FX9 siblings. Whilst having a similar form factor to DSLR sized cameras such as the A7SII, the Sony FX3 has been designed with cinematic moving image capture as it’s core mission. Video-friendly features of the FX3 include front & rear tally lamps, 1/4-20 mounting points on the camera body and a removeable top handle with industry-standard XLR audio connectors. A fan cooling system also prevents overheating when recording, something that is often an inherent issue when shooting on compact mirrorless type cameras. The FX3 is also an especially good choice for use as a matching ‘B’ cam when shooting on a Sony FX6 or FX9 (and even the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Sony Venice</a>). Equally, it’s lightweight design makes it useful a useful choice for lightweight gimbal setups. We stock a wide range of Sony ‘E’ mount prime and zoom lenses, which means a mount adapter is not required and furthermore, opens up full electronic functionality of the lens when used natively on the Sony FX3. However, if you have a preference to use other lenses such as PL and Canon EF, we stock a range of ‘E’ <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/metabones-pl-lens-to-sony-e-mount-t-cine-adapter/">mount adapters</a> compatible with this camera.   The Sony PXW-FX9 builds on the success of the popular Sony FS7/FS7II range of E-mount camcorders by introducing a larger Full-Frame 35mm Exmor R sensor. Whilst retaining the compact form-factor and familiarity of the FS7, the Sony FX9 features a sensor over twice the surface area of a Super 35 sensor, providing a shallower depth of field and a wider angle of view. Other key features of the FX9 include dual base ISO of 800/4000, over 15 stops of dynamic range and a 6K oversampled sensor for recording in DCI 4K, UHD, and HD resolutions. And for when a Super 35 format is required, the sensor crops to achieve a S35mm 4K recording mode. The FX9 Features an Electronic Variable ND, allowing for the user to have step-less control of their exposure without compromising on their chosen aperture. Our Sony FX9 camera kits are configured to a very high standard with a ARRI 15mm support package, media, and accessories to enable the camera to be used to it’s full potential. For power options, our rental kit includes both the regular ‘BP’ type batteries as well as a 4-way set of V-lock batteries and a V-lock power adapter.   eaturing a native 4.6K Super 35mm sensor and 17 stops of dynamic range, the ARRI Alexa 35 raises the bar to new heights for digital cinematography. Building on the success of the original Alexa Mini and the Mini LF, the Alexa 35 continues with the compact, yet highly functional form factor, making it a highly capable camera for a wide range production scenarios. A new side display makes operational control much easier, ensuring the camera team can quickly make changes and dial in new settings. The Alexa 35 also has a modular lens mount system, making it extremely versatile when considering lens choices and gives the option to use native S35, Full Frame and stills format lenses on the camera. Our Alexa 35 rental kits are industry leading, and supplied with a generous complement of accessories, media and power options.
