  Cooke introduced the new Panchro/i Classic series as a result of renewed interest in the vintage <strong>Cooke Speed Panchro</strong> lenses that were originally manufactured between the 1920s and 1960s. The new Panchro/i Classic is true to the optical character of the original Speed Panchro, recreating the same look and feel of the original optics with the advantage of modern glass, mechanical design and lens mounts for todays cinematography cameras. The Panchro Classic lenses also feature the Cooke /i Technology interface for frame by frame metadata capture. Cooke Panchro/i Classics are a particularly interesting lens choice for digital sensor cameras such as the Sony VENICE and ARRI Alexa Mini which can often benefit from a softer/more gentle visual style.   The Angenieux Optimo 56-152mm A2S anamorphic zoom builds on the success of the Optimo spherical zoom lens series which are noted for their lightweight and compact design, low distortion and minimal breathing characteristics. The Optimo 56-152mm achieves a 2:1 squeeze using a rear anamorphic element lens design and features a constant T4 maximum aperture across the entire zoom range. Weighing only 2.2kg, the 56-152mm Optimo Anamorphic zoom is also suited to handheld, Steadicam and Gimbal shooting modes. The 56mm to 152mm focal length range of this zoom makes it particularly useful for complementing a set of wider anamorphic prime lenses (such as <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/cooke-anamorphic-i-5-way-prime-lens-set/">Cooke Anamorphic/i</a> primes) or for productions where lens changes need to be kept to a minimum.   Bizarre, crazy, eccentric, surreal, unorthodox, scandalous… these are just a few of the words that we’ve heard when CLAVIUS lenses are being talked about. These are one of a kind lenses, unique in character, and present endless creative options (for when you have exhausted yourself testing every set of rehoused glass, Blackwings… or that fabled lens tucked away in the Woodland Hills that Peckinpah used to shoot Pat Garret and Billy the Kid). But words alone somehow fail to convey what the essence of what these lenses are really about… we really recommend that you make a trip over to Shoot Blue and experience these for yourself. Presented as a four lens set, comprising of 28mm, 38mm, 58mm and 88mm focal lengths, each CLAVIUS lens has a 95mm front and share a f/2 maximum aperture. The set is PL mounted and covers Full Frame, making them compatible with FF cameras such as the Venice and Mini LF as well an option for S35 format cameras.
