The Cabrio 19-90mm is a lightweight PL-mounted zoom lens with a focal range useful for most documentary-style productions.

The detachable servo drive unit allows the Fujinon Cabrio to combine the practicalities of ENG-style shooting and Super 35mm digital cinema production, whilst being ergonomically balanced to allow shooting handheld for extended periods.

Developed in the 1980s by the esteemed Joe Dunton Cameras (JDC) company (which was subsequently acquired by Panavision), Xtals have been used to lens many high profile feature films, including Star Wars Episode VI, Layer Cake, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ex Machina. They also remain a popular and enduring lens choice for cinematographers shooting music promos and commercials, especially when a striking and unique visual aesthetic is required. Our 4-lens set of of JDC Xtal Xpress (pronounced “crystal express”) anamorphic lenses include the 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm focal lengths.     Punching in tighter than the 100mm included with our standard five-way set, the 135mm Cooke anamorphic is a great addition to the DoP’s arsenal of lenses and perfect for flattering close-ups. Featuring the distinctive Cooke Look optical characteristic, it also retains the T2.3 maximum aperture which is found in almost every lens in the Anamorphic series. The 135mm Cooke Anamorphic, along with the Cooke Anamorphic Set, is colour balanced to match with the Cooke S4/i and S8/i.
