  The instagrid ONE max is a 2.1kWh portable energy source with a 230v AC mains outlet. Featuring an IP54 weathproof rating, silent operation and weighing 20kg, the instagrid ONE max is extremely well suited for location shooting where regular mains power is not available or a conventional generator could be problematic to use. And, unlike a lot of portable, high capacity batteries, the instagrid natively provides mains power, rather than DC, enabling it to power a much wider range of lighting equipment, including even HMI and Tungsten fixtures. A peak power boost function also enables the instagrid to sustain higher power requirements for short periods of time, which is particularly useful for conventional lighting which can have a higher draw upon startup. In addition to powering lighting fixtures, the instagrid can also be used for powering DIT carts, video village and even for charging camera batteries. To fully charge the instagrid back to full capacity takes just 2.5 hours using a 13A mains outlet. The instagrid has a single 16A single-phase output. We can supply 16A extension cables, splitters, step ups/downs to enable it to power various AC mains equipment.

  Starlink High Performance Kit

  The SpaceX Starlink system provides fast, low internet access via a global network of Low Earth Orbit satellites. Starlink is particularly suited for remote environments where wired or cellular internet access may not be available or unreliable. Starlink can achieve download speeds of between 25 and 220 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 and 20 Mbps (speed/performance is always subject to environment conditions, location and network traffic). Starlink is particularly well suited for use in event, film and TV production, where connectivity can be an issue, particularly when shooting in locations in the countryside and away from major towns and cities. Our rental kits includes the enhanced High Performance antenna which can connect to more satellites and withstand more demanding weather conditions. A WiFi router is also included to enable straightforward internet access to multiple users. The Starlink antenna requires a clear, unobstructed view of the sky, and it may not work in locations such as built up urban areas or woodland, where it cannot receive and transmit signals. We recommend checking first before hiring this item to determine if it will be suitable. To assist with achieving a clear view of the sky, our kits include a tube mount which enables Starlink to be rigged using a wind-up lighting stand or similar to provide less obstructed view of the sky. If mains power is not available at the intended location, we can supply Instagrid AC battery packs to power the Starlink system. There are several bandwidth/speed options available for Starlink and these are charged in addition to the hardware rental cost.   The Easyrig Vario 5 Gimbal Rig Flex is a variable tension system that helps shift the camera weight from your arms and shoulders to your core, allowing for all day hand held style operation that’s easy on your body. Easyrigs are great for operating handheld if you are framing for high or low positions all day, really helping with your body posture. An adjustable tension system helps balance out the payload tolerance for camera rigs between 5Kg and 17Kg. Our Vario 5 Gimbal Flex vest here is the Standard size (85-118cm, 33-46”) It’s designed around female operators with support around the chest, adjustability of torso height and shoulder frames but is used universally. This Gimbal Flex version of the vest we found to be more supportive throughout the day with a greater level of padding and more surface area to wrap around the waist-hip area. Our Easyrig comes with the 130mm, 5in extension arm if you want to offset the camera further away from you, or if you need to increase the distance from you whilst using a Gimbal. It can be used when shooting with our MoVI Pro and Ronin 2 kits.
