These re-housed vintage anamorphic lenses feature distinctive flare, skin tones and softness, giving them a unique aesthetic. Not to be mistaken for the Evolution Kowa set, these are the real deal originating from 1970’s Japan.

The lightweight, compact and versatile structure of these lenses allow them to be used in a multitude of ways, including handheld, gimbal and aerial applications.

    If you’re looking for a wild look with characterful bokeh and organic colour rendition, The LOMOs are the way to go. These Vintage Soviet-era lenses from the 1970s and 1980s use spherical lens assembly specially designed to reduce lens breathing (for anamorphic lenses). Each lens has been retrofitted with the Arma Cine Oribital system which prevent the lens front from rotating. This enables clip on matte box to be used easily with these lenses. These lenses are particularly recommended for use with cinematography cameras such as the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini/">Alexa Mini</a> and Sony <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Venice</a> that support full height sensors. Please note that the 35mm supports LMB Matte boxes in 2-Stage configuration with standard PV Filters, you won’t be able to use Rota Polas or Dioptres in either an LMB tray or stage without vignetting.

    Punching in tighter than the 100mm included with our standard five-way set, the 135mm Cooke anamorphic is a great addition to the DoP’s arsenal of lenses and perfect for flattering close-ups. Featuring the distinctive Cooke Look optical characteristic, it also retains the T2.3 maximum aperture which is found in almost every lens in the Anamorphic series. The 135mm Cooke Anamorphic, along with the Cooke Anamorphic Set, is colour balanced to match with the Cooke S4/i and S8/i.
