  Featuring a Full-Frame, 36 x 24mm sensor, the Sony VENICE can capture stunning, cinematic images at up to 6K resolution. It can also record in Super35 full height 2x anamorphic mode and is currently capable of up to 120fps in 4K. Other advanced capabilities include internal 8-stop ND filters, Dual Base ISO and over 15 stops of latitude. Our Sony VENICE rental kits include the High Speed (HFR), Full Frame and Anamorphic licenses as standard allowing your production to take full advantage of this camera. We also offer a <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera-axs-r7-package/">VENICE RAW</a> hire package which includes the AXS-R7 external RAW recorder and AXS media cards. The VENICE is compatible with most Super35 format lenses as well as Full-Frame glass such as the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/zeiss-supreme-prime-5-way-lens-set/">ZEISS Supreme Primes</a>.

  The Sony A7S II is an E-mount, full-frame 35mm camera with internal 4K recording capability and incredible low-light shooting capabilities. An update on the earlier A7S model, the Mk II benefits from increased ISO sensitivity (now up to 102,400!) & 5-axis optical image stabilisation, dramatically reducing rolling shutter artefacts. Other advanced features include 14-stop latitude in S-Log3 gamma setting, 12 mega-pixel stills capability and slow motion recording. Whilst a highly capable camera in it’s own right, the A7S II can be complemented as a B-cam. We offer a wide range of mount adapters for the A7S II, including options for PL, Leica-R & Canon lenses.

  Capable of 4.6K resolution capture in both ProRes and Blackmagic RAW formats, the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro G2 has a suite of high-end, sophisticated features in a highly cost effective and compact form factor. The unique Blackmagic sensor technology and colour science also give its images a unique look, something that that could be a useful consideration when assessing it against more heavily used cinematography cameras such as those by Sony, Canon & RED. Key features of the URSA Mini Pro G2 include built-in 2, 4 & 6 stop ND filters, support for autofocus lenses and an interchangeable lens mount. Our URSA Mini Pro G2 rental kit is supplied with a Canon EF lens mount as standard, but we can also offer the camera configured the camera with other mounts including PL. We also include a Blackmagic EVF viewfinder, shoulder support with 15mm base, media cards and a set of V-lock batteries as part of the camera package.

  Sony FX3

  The Sony FX3 is the baby of the Sony Cinema Line camera series and shares both its sensor lineage and colour science with it’s Sony FX6 and FX9 siblings. Whilst having a similar form factor to DSLR sized cameras such as the A7SII, the Sony FX3 has been designed with cinematic moving image capture as it’s core mission. Video-friendly features of the FX3 include front & rear tally lamps, 1/4-20 mounting points on the camera body and a removeable top handle with industry-standard XLR audio connectors. A fan cooling system also prevents overheating when recording, something that is often an inherent issue when shooting on compact mirrorless type cameras. The FX3 is also an especially good choice for use as a matching ‘B’ cam when shooting on a Sony FX6 or FX9 (and even the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Sony Venice</a>). Equally, it’s lightweight design makes it useful a useful choice for lightweight gimbal setups. We stock a wide range of Sony ‘E’ mount prime and zoom lenses, which means a mount adapter is not required and furthermore, opens up full electronic functionality of the lens when used natively on the Sony FX3. However, if you have a preference to use other lenses such as PL and Canon EF, we stock a range of ‘E’ <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/metabones-pl-lens-to-sony-e-mount-t-cine-adapter/">mount adapters</a> compatible with this camera.
