The XDCA Extension Unit is an optional (but often essential) accessory for use with Sony FS7 & FS7 II cameras which enables enhanced camera functionality and recording using the popular Apple ProRes 422 codec.

Featuring a V-lock battery plate along with BNC time-code and genlock interfaces, the XDCA unit makes the Sony PXW-FS7 series cameras better suited for multi-camera and broadcast style operation.

    The cmotion steady zoom has been designed for use with Steadicam and gimbal shooting setups, but can also be configured as classic pan-bar zoom control (in much the same way as a Preston Microforce). This unit has an adjustable nano clamp to mount on a pan handle, moose bar or a gimbal ring, and a right angle LBUS  cable so keep  your cabling flush. Some of the other key features include an LBUS interface, enabling it to be integrated into a wireless lens control ecosystem (such as a cmotion cPro or<a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-hi-5-3-channel-lens-control-kit/"> ARRI Hi-</a>5) and assignable user buttons for camera stop/start, ‘ZAP’ zoom and lens limits.
