This second generation of the Compact Prime lenses now delivers even greater flexibility by introducing interchangeable EF & PL mounts, allowing the lenses to be used with a wide range of cameras from traditional cine to DSLR systems.

    If you’re looking for a wild look with characterful bokeh and organic colour rendition, The LOMOs are the way to go. These Vintage Soviet-era lenses from the 1970s and 1980s use spherical lens assembly specially designed to reduce lens breathing (for anamorphic lenses). Each lens has been retrofitted with the Arma Cine Oribital system which prevent the lens front from rotating. This enables clip on matte box to be used easily with these lenses. These lenses are particularly recommended for use with cinematography cameras such as the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini/">Alexa Mini</a> and Sony <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Venice</a> that support full height sensors. Please note that the 35mm supports LMB Matte boxes in 2-Stage configuration with standard PV Filters, you won’t be able to use Rota Polas or Dioptres in either an LMB tray or stage without vignetting.

    The Angenieux Optimo 56-152mm A2S anamorphic zoom builds on the success of the Optimo spherical zoom lens series which are noted for their lightweight and compact design, low distortion and minimal breathing characteristics. The Optimo 56-152mm achieves a 2:1 squeeze using a rear anamorphic element lens design and features a constant T4 maximum aperture across the entire zoom range. Weighing only 2.2kg, the 56-152mm Optimo Anamorphic zoom is also suited to handheld, Steadicam and Gimbal shooting modes. The 56mm to 152mm focal length range of this zoom makes it particularly useful for complementing a set of wider anamorphic prime lenses (such as <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/cooke-anamorphic-i-5-way-prime-lens-set/">Cooke Anamorphic/i</a> primes) or for productions where lens changes need to be kept to a minimum.     Featuring a 46.7mm image circle, Tokina Vista Primes cover the largest Full Frame and Vista Vision sensors, but are equally at home paired with Super 35 format cameras. All lenses in the set have a T1.5 maximum aperture, share a 9 bladed iris design and have almost imperceptible optical breathing, allowing for very precise and consistent cinematography. If you have not used Tokina lenses before, prepare yourself to be impressed – these are lenses that punch well above their weight, and hold their own against lenses by more established cine lens manufacturers such as Cooke and ARRI. We also sometimes get asked by our clients which of the lenses we stock have the closest characteristics to Panavision glass – Tokina Vista series primes are almost identical in terms of published technical specifications to Panavision Panaspeed large format lenses, so would always be our recommendation! Our 6-way Tokina Vista lens set comprises of the 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm & 105mm focal lengths.
