  Featuring a 46.7mm image circle, Tokina Vista Primes cover the largest Full Frame and Vista Vision sensors, but are equally at home paired with Super 35 format cameras. All lenses in the set have a T1.5 maximum aperture, share a 9 bladed iris design and have almost imperceptible optical breathing, allowing for very precise and consistent cinematography. If you have not used Tokina lenses before, prepare yourself to be impressed – these are lenses that punch well above their weight, and hold their own against lenses by more established cine lens manufacturers such as Cooke and ARRI. We also sometimes get asked by our clients which of the lenses we stock have the closest characteristics to Panavision glass – Tokina Vista series primes are almost identical in terms of published technical specifications to Panavision Panaspeed large format lenses, so would always be our recommendation! Our 6-way Tokina Vista lens set comprises of the 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm & 105mm focal lengths.

  Anamorphic lenses rarely more characterful (and beautiful) than the JDC Xtal Xpress series. Developed in the 1980s by the esteemed Joe Dunton Cameras (JDC) company (which was subsequently acquired by Panavision), Xtals have been used to lens many high profile feature films, including Star Wars Episode VI, Layer Cake, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ex Machina. They also remain a popular and enduring lens choice for cinematographers shooting music promos and commercials, especially when a striking and unique visual aesthetic is required. Our 4-lens set of of JDC Xtal Xpress (pronounced “crystal express”) anamorphic lenses include the 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm focal lengths. Recently given a complete optical and mechanical overhaul, we are confident this is one of the finest sets of these acclaimed and rarefied lenses currently available for rental.   LOMO Roundfront Anamorphic Lens Set

  If you’re looking for a wild look with characterful bokeh and organic colour rendition, The LOMOs are the way to go. These Vintage Soviet-era lenses from the 1970s and 1980s use spherical lens assembly specially designed to reduce lens breathing (for anamorphic lenses). Each lens has been retrofitted with the Arma Cine Oribital system which prevent the lens front from rotating. This enables clip on matte box to be used easily with these lenses. These lenses are particularly recommended for use with cinematography cameras such as the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini/">Alexa Mini</a> and Sony <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Venice</a> that support full height sensors. Please note that the 35mm supports LMB Matte boxes in 2-Stage configuration with standard PV Filters, you won’t be able to use Rota Polas or Dioptres in either an LMB tray or stage without vignetting.
