    If you’re looking for a wild look with characterful bokeh and organic colour rendition, The LOMOs are the way to go. These Vintage Soviet-era lenses from the 1970s and 1980s use spherical lens assembly specially designed to reduce lens breathing (for anamorphic lenses). Each lens has been retrofitted with the Arma Cine Oribital system which prevent the lens front from rotating. This enables clip on matte box to be used easily with these lenses. These lenses are particularly recommended for use with cinematography cameras such as the ARRI <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini/">Alexa Mini</a> and Sony <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Venice</a> that support full height sensors. Please note that the 35mm supports LMB Matte boxes in 2-Stage configuration with standard PV Filters, you won’t be able to use Rota Polas or Dioptres in either an LMB tray or stage without vignetting.

And at T1.4 maximum aperture across the series, they are also amongst the fastest Full-Frame cinematography lenses available. Complementing the Cooke Look is the precise and reliable mechanical design, making these lenses that cinematographers and camera assistants can completely trust in any shooting situation. As Cooke themselves put it, the S8/i series are ‘Technically Beautiful’ lenses. Our set of Cooke S8/i lenses are natively LPL mounted and can deliver an image circle of 46.3mm, making them compatible with a wide range of both Full Frame and Super 35 format cameras, including the new ARRI Alexa 35. The compact and lightweight design also make them suited for todays diverse shooting applications, whether it be handheld, gimbal Steadicam or motion control.     Cooke introduced the new Panchro/i Classic series as a result of renewed interest in the vintage <strong>Cooke Speed Panchro</strong> lenses that were originally manufactured between the 1920s and 1960s. The new Panchro/i Classic is true to the optical character of the original Speed Panchro, recreating the same look and feel of the original optics with the advantage of modern glass, mechanical design and lens mounts for todays cinematography cameras. The Panchro Classic lenses also feature the Cooke /i Technology interface for frame by frame metadata capture. Cooke Panchro/i Classics are a particularly interesting lens choice for digital sensor cameras such as the Sony VENICE and ARRI Alexa Mini which can often benefit from a softer/more gentle visual style.
