  The Sony FX3 is the baby of the Sony Cinema Line camera series and shares both its sensor lineage and colour science with it’s Sony FX6 and FX9 siblings. Whilst having a similar form factor to DSLR sized cameras such as the A7SII, the Sony FX3 has been designed with cinematic moving image capture as it’s core mission. Video-friendly features of the FX3 include front & rear tally lamps, 1/4-20 mounting points on the camera body and a removeable top handle with industry-standard XLR audio connectors. A fan cooling system also prevents overheating when recording, something that is often an inherent issue when shooting on compact mirrorless type cameras. The FX3 is also an especially good choice for use as a matching ‘B’ cam when shooting on a Sony FX6 or FX9 (and even the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-venice-full-frame-6k-camera/">Sony Venice</a>). Equally, it’s lightweight design makes it useful a useful choice for lightweight gimbal setups. We stock a wide range of Sony ‘E’ mount prime and zoom lenses, which means a mount adapter is not required and furthermore, opens up full electronic functionality of the lens when used natively on the Sony FX3. However, if you have a preference to use other lenses such as PL and Canon EF, we stock a range of ‘E’ <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/metabones-pl-lens-to-sony-e-mount-t-cine-adapter/">mount adapters</a> compatible with this camera.   The ALEXA Mini LF is the latest camera in the highly acclaimed <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/arri-alexa-mini/">ALEXA MINI</a> series. Equipped with a 4.5K resolution Full-Frame (FF) sensor and a native LPL lens mount, the Mini LF combines large format cinematography with the compact size, precise colour science and stunning image quality of the ALEXA Mini. Like original ARRI ALEXA Mini, the LF is particularly suited to handheld, gimbal and Steadicam applications which demand a lower weight and form factor. Our Mini LF cameras have the latest Software Update Package 7.1.2 installed which enables Super 35mm recording at up to 3.4K resolution, making the camera now natively compatible with both full-frame and S35 format cinematography lenses.   Capable of 4.6K resolution capture in both ProRes and Blackmagic RAW formats, the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro G2 has a suite of high-end, sophisticated features in a highly cost effective and compact form factor. The unique Blackmagic sensor technology and colour science also give its images a unique look, something that that could be a useful consideration when assessing it against more heavily used cinematography cameras such as those by Sony, Canon & RED. Key features of the URSA Mini Pro G2 include built-in 2, 4 & 6 stop ND filters, support for autofocus lenses and an interchangeable lens mount. Our URSA Mini Pro G2 rental kit is supplied with a Canon EF lens mount as standard, but we can also offer the camera configured the camera with other mounts including PL. We also include a Blackmagic EVF viewfinder, shoulder support with 15mm base, media cards and a set of V-lock batteries as part of the camera package.

A new side display makes operational control much easier, ensuring the camera team can quickly make changes and dial in new settings. The Alexa 35 also has a modular lens mount system, making it extremely versatile when considering lens choices and gives the option to use native S35, Full Frame and stills format lenses on the camera. Our Alexa 35 rental kits are industry leading, and supplied with a generous complement of accessories, media and power options.
