  The FX6 sits at the centre of the Sony 4K Cinema Line camera range, with a more comprehensive feature set than the FX3, but enjoying a smaller and more mobile form factor than the <a href="https://shootblue.tv/products/sony-pxw-fx9-full-frame-camera/">Sony FX9</a>. It’s compact size and functionality make it a great choice for lightweight, handheld ‘run and gun’ shooting setups as well as being a Full-Frame 4K option for gimbal and B-camera use. With an interchangeable ‘E’ lens mount, it can be used natively with Sony lenses and with a mount adapter, will work with most other lens mounts including PL & Canon EF. It has a suite of highly useful features, including a built-in electronic variable ND filter, advanced autofocus capabilities, 15+ stops dynamic range and for low-light shooting, expanded ISO of up to 409600. It supports a range of Full Frame 35mm and Super35 10-bit 4:2:2 recording resolutions and also offers high frame rate capture at up to 120fps in 4K. An upgraded, more durable chassis makes this camera even more formidable when either on set or on location and the new Canon-made PL mount allows the use of the very highest quality cinema glass available. The improved Super 35mm CMOS sensor refreshes at an even faster rate, doing away with almost all rolling shutter effects. In the vein of cameras now being able to shoot in nearly pitch dark, the C300 Mk II boasts an incredible maximum ISO of 102,400, meaning your late night shoots will be just as well serviced as those in the day – the built in NDs see to any excessive light.

An update on the earlier A7S model, the Mk II benefits from increased ISO sensitivity (now up to 102,400!) & 5-axis optical image stabilisation, dramatically reducing rolling shutter artefacts. Other advanced features include 14-stop latitude in S-Log3 gamma setting, 12 mega-pixel stills capability and slow motion recording. Whilst a highly capable camera in it’s own right, the A7S II can be complemented as a B-cam. We offer a wide range of mount adapters for the A7S II, including options for PL, Leica-R & Canon lenses.

The unique Blackmagic sensor technology and colour science also give its images a unique look, something that that could be a useful consideration when assessing it against more heavily used cinematography cameras such as those by Sony, Canon & RED. Key features of the URSA Mini Pro G2 include built-in 2, 4 & 6 stop ND filters, support for autofocus lenses and an interchangeable lens mount. Our URSA Mini Pro G2 rental kit is supplied with a Canon EF lens mount as standard, but we can also offer the camera configured the camera with other mounts including PL. We also include a Blackmagic EVF viewfinder, shoulder support with 15mm base, media cards and a set of V-lock batteries as part of the camera package.
